Pat, I can't find a place to e-mail you? I'd like to take this to my other blog to post, let me know if that's OK? thanks
THANK YOU for this list. I've read every one of these over many years and live by them, nice to have them all in one page. The flowers are beautiful. Have a fun-filled night.
I read "Gifts from The Sea" as Marta says...one great book indeed!
The fact that you can at any moment recall the feelings, the peace, the smells, the whole FL experience is a very GOOD thing. Keep doing it and that will balance you out...honest it will. Then.... well choices...the thought to hold and the feelings of the peace..and let the Universe do all the work for you.
Things happen to you more exquisitely than you could ever plan!
Suggestion....If you like to sing, find a church that has a good choir, join the choir. My hubby did, it was a Methodist Church in a town close to ours. They didn't care if he was from their church they appreciated a good vocalist.
Also our little town has a City Orchestra, check it out and see if your Community or Township has any thing you can get involved in with your musical 'gifts'. Enjoy the fellowship and play and sing till your heart is content
Just when I finished posting the "Love and Acceptance" I came here and read this blog post. I went to unload my laundry and kept thinking about you and about myself and my 20 yr. old son. I thought how often I had to remind myself ....all there IS is LOVE, the rest is a cry for LOVE. When I can remind myself to respond to ALL situations and people from LOVE, it helps me be calm and at peace, trusting that all will BE handled by that LOVE that I affirm in every situation. I can't do it, however LOVE can through me!
I too love words and the words inside words, and where words originated. The post today is great, loved learning how those sayings came into use. Sharing this with you>>>>mind your own beeswax. This came from the days when smallpox was a common disease that caused disfigurement. Those who survived the disease were left with pock marks on their body and face. Ladies would fill in the pock marks with beeswax. However when the weather was very warm the wax might melt. But it was not the thing to do for one lady to tell another that her makeup was melting. Thank you for the nice comment you left at my blog. Appreciate that a lot.
Oh thank you for this, I didn't know, I too loved him and his perspective that made so many of his jokes so true. I'll have to get his collection from the library and watch it again. Bless him for the laughter he gave us
Only the last guy is cracking a little smile. The rest are so serious, probably wondering where they left their shirt and why they left their 'fly' open? No old farts at this fire dept? Shucks!
Those 2 rocks look like shoulders, very clever. Fun stuff
