My daughter and grandsons came from California to visit for a few days. We had such a great time!!!! Michele and the boys enjoyed riding the ATV around the ranch, feeding the horses, and digging holes. Funny... but those boys are really into digging holes and hopefully they will continue that enjoyment as they get older and then they can help us put in fenceposts.

We then joined up with my sister and niece and traveled to Aspen Ridge Resort where we stayed for a couple of days in the cabin pictured above. It overlooks the meadow with cattle and buffalo. The scenery was really beautiful!!!!

The boys also enjoyed lots of fishing (catch and release) and they went horseback riding. We also played table games, darts, and they had some kind of paddle game they played out on the tennis courts.

Their cousin Christy was great with the boys. She played table tennis with them and Battleship. They really liked the latter game and they want to buy one.

We had lots of delicious meals, including a tri-tip dinner at the lodge. Christy is a great cook and she fixed her famous Asian Salmon Recipe which is "to die for."

You can find the Asian Grilled Salmon recipe on the Food Network. It is one of "Barefoot Contessa Parties Recipes." Or... I will try to post it on my next blog. I'm too lazy to type it all out on this post.

Even though I'm ready for a little quiet time after my company... I'm already lonesome for them. I just don't get to visit with those grandchildren enough. Klamath Falls now has added a flight south to the Bay area and so maybe I can fly to see them. At the sametime, the local airport took away our northbound flights to Portland. It seems we will never have flights going both directions. Very sad!!!
