  Looking Good!

I've been watching the B.B.C. national weather on tv. Although we have been fortunate to have had such a lovely, bank holiday weekend, for a couple of hours we have experienced a teensy, drop of the wet stuff. This is not to be feared though, as it is going to be clearing during the night and, there is going to be much, sun for the rest of the week - hooray!!!

The downside is Hay-fever sufferers - it is The Beech Tree pollen which is going to be the culprit, so be ready for it! Luckily, I do not suffer, but some friends and family do, they have my sympathies.

The weather lady also said that we can expect the return of the 'sun' as it is most certainly 'warming-up' as befits the month!!

Brilliant, I have been waiting for this season to arrive - hope we get another fine bank holiday at the end of this month - for Whitsun weekend (Spring holiday, to the younger generation - that is the [now] 'politically correct' terminology).

 . . . .I wonder if Lynnette is back yet??? I'll

go see . . . . .

Explain a bank holiday? Our banks get a day off because we have national holidays. Is that the same? Hope your weather is excellent!

I presume that they are, more or less the same as you in the states - certainly sound alike. The only thing about after, a bank holiday, is that for the rest of the week, it seems to throw you, into asking yourself 'what day is it again'??? It's Tuesday today, but it feels like a 'Monday'

Happy bank holidays! Some drizzle plus sun will cause flowering! Glad you don't have the allergies they cause! Nice season...

Now I am not that good on Geography (bearing in mind, that since I was in school, at lot of the countries that I was taught about, have changed there names . . . )!! But, on the weather forecast last evening, the 'pleasant, warm, [dry . . . !???] weather we are going to be getting [& it looks pretty good today !!] is coming to us from the East and, driving out the 'bad stuff' over toward Ireland and, presumably, toward the USA - (this is where my lack of knowledge or, the whereabouts of Geographical countries come to the fore)!!! I do hope that you do, get the weather you desire though
