Well, whizzes may be a little over the top but we did manage to win another 12 bucks at the trivia contest last night. We started out slow and picked up speed and ended the fourth round with 185 points. When the question guy said the final category was to be sports (again) we wisely decided to bet nothing. His birthday isn't actually until July 20th but wife Joyce really wanted to surprise him and figured a party 17 days before the actual day was one way of assuring the surprise. IT WORKED! He had a procedure performed where his throat was stretched (ouch) and the area was made ready to receive his new voice box in a few weeks. Tom has been through Hell over the past two years and we hope and pray that he is at last through with surgery and can look forward to a more normal life. Keep that cheerful outlook, Tom.
