You will find it surprising that even Oxford doesn t give out what the word implies – accuracy, precision, patience , aggression. That is one advantage that their captains can take pleasure in. These legends are passionate about their bowling-The former fought his personal family troubles whereas the latter fought Diabetes. That, simply, makes them legends.

Many speak about a rivalry existing between Sachin and Mcgrath. But I fear saying there doesn t exist one. Before I deviate any further from our subject, I would want to add that Mcgrath has been a match winner on many occasions than the number that the media has projected. On the field he is more irritating with his scorns, sledging and giggles that add insult to the already baffled batsman.Who can forget his episodes with Sarwan,Dravid and many Englishmen.But they say that it is the AUSSIE WAY OF PRESSURISING A BATSMAN. To some extent I agree to this point but Mcgrath goes a bit overboard at times.


While his offerings for aussies and world cricket have come to an end in the test arena, he is still on target in the quest for a third straight worldcup title for Australia. Even when budding bowlers are trying to be vibrant thanks to the image that Brett Lee, Akhtar have got , there has to be one phenomenon every decade and no doubt Mcgrath has been one! .
