A contractor hit a 3 inch main while doing some work in the area near us. The utilities shut things down right away so that it could be repaired blocking off a couple blocks. The businesses that were in the area, had employees and customers evacuated from there as well just as a percaution. Since I only work part-time, I got $300 for me and $300 for my son. $600 is not bad at all.
