In other news, my father called me from the hospital and left a message on my answering machine. I called him back and found out that he has pnemonia and he has been in the hospital since Sunday but failed to tell me until today. He has to go through rehibilitation some time in the near future as well.

He wants me to get his keys to his apartment from the hospital and then go to his apartment and pick up some items for him like toothpaste, shaving cream, etc.

I called back later to talk to his nurse to find out how safe or unsafe this would be for me to do this. I am going to grab a mask from the hospital and get some plasic gloves so that when I enter his apartment, I will not come into contact so much with the virus or whatever it is called.

I am scared. I don't want to do this but it's my dad and rarely does he ask for help from anyone. I just don't want to get sick either and give it to my family...

If you wear a face mask, you should be okay. Ask his nurse if he is contagious. He may not be contagious after all. I hope he recovers soon!
