Mother's Day wasn't too bad. Kind of mellow for the most part. My fiancee made dinner for us. Just something simple. Brats, mac 'n cheese, and vegtables (corn and carrots).

His friend who we call "Homes" came over to hang out for some reason. Wasn't anything going on for him on Mother's Day? I'm not sure, but we all hung out, had dinner, and watched a movie called American Gangster.

Excellent movie! It is based on a true story. Here's the trailer to it.



It was the first movie that I have sat down and watched where I had my eyes glued to the screen. I haven't paid that close attention to a movie in a long time. It was very good.

My son was to bet my 8:30pm so that is what we did while he was asleep.

I had already gotten my present from my son on Friday when he came home from school, which was a hand made little cook book that the teachers help the kids put together. Some recipes that I never even heard of.

Anyways, it was a mello day...and that's about it...
