A book about the impact of bloging on businesses. If you don't know what RSS or Tags mean or if you aren't using subscriptions to search for infomation that will be posted in the future then you should skim this book even if you don't care about blogs and business.
The authors are Robert Scoble, who runs a blog for Microsoft, and Shel Israel. Both are web heads with contempt for traditional businesses and marketing in particular. They are experts in modern internet technology but naive about managment, business and marketing. In spite of their narrow minded beliefs and views they do have some excellent points about the impact of blogs on business. However, even though they point out that the current bloging community of webheads probably won't be able to control business blogging, they proceed to tell businesses how to blog according to webhead rules. Don't brother to read such drivel unless you are curious about the narrow world of webheads. Just like other elements of the web blogging will evolve as the masses, including businesses, drive it. The idealist web heads will just complain and go on to what ever new thing they will have invented by that time.
