My first husband was with the troops that liberated one of the prison camps. The horror is with him still. He only talked about it to me once.

Twenty-five years ago the TV station ran archival footage all day. They learned it was traumatizing everyone especially the kids. So, they stopped the horror show. Now, Holocaust survivors give us accounts on the radio somewhat easier to absorb. Your husband must have a great deal of faith in you to tell you even once.
If we Jews had done a proper job to impress the lessons of the Holocaust on the world, there would be no war.
