Al Sadr appeals to nationalistic sentiments that unite some 70% of Iraqis. Regardless of religious affiliation, they know they must throw out the Americans to live in dignity.

Apparently, Condi and John McCain will continue the fight until the Chinese have bought every house in the USA.

Iraq is a manufactured country-and I am not sure that they won't try to kill them selves at even a faster rate if we pull out tomorrow. I just don't know the easy answer.

Saddam murdered 1500 per month. After our invasion, 15,000 Iraqis died every month. The Americans were very lucky. When Hitler did it to Poland, seven millions of his countrymen died and the Allies wrecked his country.
We stay to grab oil and to save face goals I don't think we can accomplish.
