Okay I know that I from snow country originally, Buffalo, NY area to be exact, and I should be able to handle 50 degree temperatures in March. But to be honest I don’t even want to go outside at 50 degrees, I have lived in North Carolina for 7 ½ years and have adjusted to the warmer weather quite nicely. We haven’t had snow in two years at my house and that is fine by me. Don’t get me wrong I love snow, I love to ski but I am happy to travel somewhere to do that and not have to live with the snow and cold on a daily basis.

I need to ride my horse, but it has been 50 and windy and wet the last few days and it is not looking any better for the extended forecast. So I may venture out to ride him on the weekend if it is not windy as well as cold. I remember a time when I rode through the snow all winter to have my horses ready to show in the spring. Trust me those days are long gone!

Okay I am going back to bury my head under the blankets and wait for spring!
