I've never slept on linen pillowcases. I would probably want to feel them first to see if they were softer than cotton. But then I'm known to pet the fabric in the stores... When I was married, my husband used to reach over in the middle of the night and grab my pillow, rip it out from under my head (and wake me up!) and either hug it or stuff it under his head with his other TWO pillows! He was always sound asleep when he did it and in the morning he would always deny it.
Sickening. How many deserving families will go without decent housing as a result of this? ABC and the bank ought to be sanctioned, but it'll never happen.
I wish I'd seen the exploding pillow! Did you take pictures of the mess? File that one under, "Some day this will be funny"
I hope you do write the column, Sue. And post copies of every one of them here, on your blog!
What a wonderful memory, Randy. Did you ever do any of the Volksmarches there?
I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been there and I can't think of anything more difficult. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you but I the only thing I can think of is if you give your husband all the love you had for your baby, it might help both of you.
I haven't been to San Fran in over 30 years! Arrgh! How could I have let so much time pass? Anyway, thanks for giving me a taste of it. I loved it too.
Did it derail the prosecutor's train of thought? If so, he didn't need to make the objection after all.
