One of the main reasons I don't stay on the tread mill or other machines at the gym is that I get so bored. You can watch TV which is fine, but when the commericals come up, well, that's my cue to stop. I had the tiny small music ipod, but the sound was fading ( or my hearing is getting worse) so I stopped using it. I shopped Itunes for music videos, but most of it is the "newer" ... I read about doing this somewhere and thought I could give it a try. The rule was you could write anything you wanted.. happy, mad, sad, glad, it stayed in the journal, the response would not be a verbal one, but answered back in written words. The first year was mainly mushy..poetry, cards, etc. The second year the entries were more of a serious nature , a bit more critical. We always put the journal on top of the pillow, ...
