About Me

Retired teacher of Art and the history of Renaissance Art. I live with my partner of 42 years on several acres of forest and native gardens in sub-tropical Queensland, Australia where we keep very fit, work in the garden, producing our own fruit and vegetables and eggs [well the hens do that]and are beseiged by hundreds of parrots and other birds and insects who come for all the feed plants and flowers we've encouraged, and snakes and kangaroos of course... I paint, write novels, we listen to classical music of the late 17th - early 19th Century, read, play bridge and have no spare time. I also do a fair bit of PR work for the Atheist Foundation of Australia; there are a few of my articles on their site, perhaps the most important of which is "Good, Gay and Godless.
