I'm back in the home saddle for now. Had a wonderful time with the Slick One....and then also with my family for a few days. Missed by a day, seeing an uncle from California, but I was already geared to come home and was ready to sleep in our own bed again. I think the kids were happy to have me home again for a few days.

I'm going to have to spend a few days on here, getting caught up on the skinny happenin' on greasy-ground!

Went to the course for the first time completely by myself! There was a foursome in front of me and they asked me to join them.....so the round I figured would take me about 2 hours, took about 5-1/2. It was really laid back and we had a lot of fun. I didn't play too badly.....better than last weekend when I thought maybe I should sell my clubs. Last weekend, if you'd watched me out there, you'd have thought I'd have been best to sell the clubs and take up some other game. But I shall persevere. All it takes is those one or two great shots and you're fired up to keep going!!

All for now for the land of our new palace in Missouri.

glad you got to see the slick one! I have never tried golfing and as uncoordinated as I am, I should stay away from anything involving clubs.

LOL.....so you're one of those that we all need to make sure we stay far, FAR away from if we put a golf club in your hand!! It's just like anything though....it's a good thing we don't all like the same things or we'd never get to do them because the places would be too crowded! Kinda like finding a doctor that you like....if everyone liked the same one, we'd never get seen!! Hugs to ya and to Kota!!

Thanks, Tracy. As you can prob'ly tell, being with the Slick One is what I want to do and is where I want to be....it's hard to be apart. But it's only temporary! Thanks for stoppin' by!
