Paradise, California Evacuated!!!! We Are Safe!!!

Hello greasy friends,
We are safe and in Chico.
it is so bad and Paradise hasn't burned like this in 70 years!! So there is lots of fuel!!!
I just found out about Tim R's death today, Friday the 13th, only Tim Russet will be PROUD about dying on this very interesting date??!! Much too young at 57...but his work will continue...
No one will ever forget his date of death....

I fell in love with this man and his authenticity shortly before I got rid of the TV.... 6+ years ago!! We need more men and woman who can speak the truths!! No matter what!!

Hey Barb! It's about time you posted something. I've missed you. Been keeping up with all the Calif. fire news: your area, my son's (Santa Cruz), S. Calif. For us in Indiana, it's the opposite--water! My place avoided the big storms, thankfully. Keep in touch.

Thanks for stopping by, I just saw this message and it is July 2!! Yeah we had a little respite from the fires and smoke...but since the inversion layer opened up the "sleeping giants" have arrived again!! It is like low fog in the early mornings....the smoke is so thick and TOXIC!!!!
I know Santa Cruz and the WHOLE state pretty much is on fire!! With July 4th.....I know I am staying home!!! It is just so dry for so early!!

I have been so lost that I did not know about the wild fires around Paradise, and learned about that and the flooding in Iowa on the same page. Amazing what all happens when one withdraws from the world for a week or so. Glad to know you are safe.

I was so sad to hear about Tim. He was a great father, great husband and great man. Only the good die young.

I drove up the blackened hills this morning as the sun was rising and it was an incrediblely erie sunrise to say the least. The Humbolt fire is 20% contained and we are so blessed no loss of life so far!!! Thank you to all of the firefighters who helped save Paradise!!!!!
