It never ceases to amaze me when facts are presented on either side, someone has to dredge up the past. I believe the past is not a place we live in. It is, however, a place to learn from. Hindsight is 20/20, we all know all of the mistakes, and accusations from the past.
I think what I am tired of more than anything else, is when facts prove out, then vicious attacks begin. The life of politics? Maybe.
Maybe they should learn a little common decency and respect on both sides. Maybe they should learn to listen a lot better. I know they should remember this is a democracy. I feel the current administration has forgotten that. I have the right to feel that way.I feel it wrong when a system of checks and balances fails because of one sided majority control. I cannot stand those who condem Democrats for doing nothing, they have no control to stop this insanity.
I am more than willing to be reasonable, but I refuse to swallow something I know in my heart to be false. I feel the people, ordinary everyday people, who work for a living, or can't, are the overlooked. This administration cuts programs that service the poor and underpriveledged.That does not make sense, if you follow the "christian right" philosophy. If one were to follow that belief (christianity) then it would only make sense to reach out to the poor.
I have seriously thought of not blogging, I am tired of the crap that never ceases, but I want to be able to voice my opinion the same as everyone else. I realize that while we may not agree, that discussion is a way to work things out.
I want and hope that somewhere there really is a middleground. I want better for all America. I am tired of the blatant attacks, lies, and misdirection in this administration. I think it is time for everyone to get real and learn to work for what is right. I know currently this will not happen. Big business and the rich rule all, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
