‹ chat statusThe "Squatter Family" survived the big down pour. We had a fast drenching rain earlier so I took a peek out the back door to check on our little family and there was mama bird in front keeping her babies all warm, snug and try. I've never had the opportunity to watch a wild bird raise her little brood. I grew up on a farm and we had most every kind of farm animal at one time or another including chickens and ducks. They don't seem to get upset if I just stand by the door and shoot a quick pic or two with the zoom setting. Here is the latest pic.
