How much longer do we have to endure American Idol? With the exception of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, none of the other winners have a strong recording career.

Season 1: Only Kelly Clarkson has been successful.

Season 2: Ruben Studdard won but Clay Aiken,the runner up, went platinum on his first album. Now Gay(I mean Clay. Come out of the closet already.)is already a has-been.

Season 3: Fantasia won but whose holding the Golden Globe and the Oscar? Why Jennifer Hudson is. The one booted out in ninth place.

Season 4: Carrie Underwood won and is now annoying us still with that stupid "Before He Cheats" song that is blasting on the regular non-country stations. Personally I voted for rocker Bo Bice.

Season 5: The gimmick won over the talent. Taylor Hicks cannot sing. Neither can Chris Daughtry but he's selling albums.

Season 6: Jordin Sparks won but predictions say Melinda Dolittle will be a bigger star.

Personally I quit watching after Season 4 but still heard about the other winners. It is just getting old. Randy's constant "Yo Dawg, you were pitchy." Paula's incoherent drunken behavior. The best judge will always be Simon but his constant barbs are growing old too. Seacrest will always annoy me and I can't wait until America quits watching Idol.
'nuff said.

I watched almost religiously last season, but I couldn't get past the first episode this season. There are no more stars coming from the show. Oh well. The guy who won last season has been dropped from his record lable already sheesh!

I thought Jordin Sparks won last season. Isn't she a girl? If not, that dude has a high voice.
