‹ chat statusAs I mentioned in my last post, I am currently looking for other employment. The situation with by B-Day got resolved. Goth Queen actually sent Big Red(another co-worker) to relieve me. So from 1:00 on, I was celebrating. We, actually, PD and I were just bumming around in Newport. I got a free yard of ale for my birthday at the Rogue Public House(for those of you that don't know, it's served in a 3 foot tall glass. It equals about two pints.) I nursed it because I didn't want to get a fast buzz from it. Microbrews have a high alcohol content and pack a whollop if you aren't careful. If you are a true beer drinker, I suggest going for micros. If all you care about is getting totally shit-faced, just buy a case of Hamms or Keystone. After about a sixer, you don't taste them anyway.
Back to my post. I'm still looking for other work. I mentioned that my boss thinks Goth Queen walks on water and promoted her above me to second in command. I've been there four years and GQ only two. All because, according to Boss Lady, GQ made her some money and has experience with ordering supplies. Hello! In case you didn't check my application and resume. I have two years of supervisory experience. It was at a hospital laundry room but I did order supplies. I had to follow a monthly budget and order them and supervise six employees at the same time. I made out a schedule too. Another reason I'm looking for another job is PD and I want to buy a house. We are sick of renting and want something to call our own where we don't have to live under someone else's rules and worry about when they will raise the rent. We can have our dogs and not worry about losing a deposit if they accidentally pee on the carpet and we can't clean it up. The hard part is getting the mortgage.
