  Dead People Need Jobs Too

I like Will Smith, but the movie I Am Legend disappointed me profoundly because it had fake video-game people as the zombies instead of real actors. Their super-narrow faces and comic book builds were ridiculous, and made scary scenes not scary. Why should a classic horror movie be treated this way?

For similar reasons I'm not interested in seeing the new Hulk movie even though it has my wonderful Edward Norton in it. I already despised the first Hulk movie because it had a fake Hulk (and it also accomplished something I didn't think you could do: Make explosions tedious and boring). And here they went and made a second with a digitally- created Hulk. Why not make the entire thing fake, no actors? When you mix them it makes bilgewater of the whole thing. And I'm not certain what bilgewater is!

Give me back Lou Ferrigno and Vincent Price, and the live zombies. Or half-alive, or re-animated or whatever zombies are.

Fake people are the worst!!! The worst people in the world... in the words of Keith Olbermann! Why are they ruining movies like this? Bad!!!

Bumpedoff is right; "Night of the Living Dead" as I recently posted in "Three Sleepers" is a classic and the zombies were extras recruited out of Pittsburgh where it was filmed. These computer generated comic book flicks suck (excepting "300" which was well done).

I'll have to see 300.

Yea, had the same problem with the film. CG has its advantages, but not at 100% CG...

Bilge water lies green in the bottom of your boat. Too much will sink your boat. If you wade in it, your feet will become green.
Watching feature length cartoons has the same effect on your eyes. Everyone becomes a hulk.
The best zombies are living citizens from Pittsburgh ["Night of the Living Dead"]. Cartoonists fail to produce the lurching walk native to that fair city. A true zombie always grins until he bites you.

A shot and a beer, Isaly's chipped ham and Pirates caps worn backwards all testify to the greatness of Pittsburghers. You can see the lurch in the 1940's part of the movie "Malcom X" that took place in Boston. Surely, they copied us, or maybe Spike Lee was native to our town.

As a native of that lurching city, I will try to get some photo evidence of our characteristic walk. Also the grin of the zombie.
