Happy Friday

Whew I'm glad it's Friday...it's been a long week. Playing catch up from vacation and all that.

I worked late last night and when I got home the news at my house wasn't so great. Ken got layed off.....apparently they had a big meeting Friday (when we were on vacation) and told everyone that due to budget cuts with funding they were going to have to let some folks go, and since he was the last person hired in...well he was first to let go. That sucks...but it's life....not much you can do about it at this point. I kinda wish they would have done it before we went on vacation and had his car fixed. But again...such is life.

Umbrella lady was back yesterday again. I was tired of arguing with her, so I told her he had just left and went across the street to the DHS office....I know..I know...my bad....I just hope nobody at DHS finds out I sent her over there....LOL Something tells me they would not be happy with me...

I'm by myself today at work....everybody else is either at meetings or taking personal days. It's actually pretty nice...

Sorry your husband got laid off. Hopefully he'll get some unemployment money? And find another job soon. Love your attitude.

I'm sorry to hear about Ken losing his job... but you sound like you have a good attitude about it. Hopefully the next great opportunity is right around the corner.
