Knowing Kota is having a great day! And the reason I know is because I received a phone call first thing this morning from the asst. principal. When I looked at the caller ID, I could have cried. But I answered. She told me she went to check on Kota in his classroom. He was all smiles and eager to talk to her. They students have their desks in groups of 4. Kota asked his teacher if he could pull his desk away from the group, that he thought he could work better that way. The asst. principal said he is not far away from his group, just enough for kota's comfort zone. She asked kota if he minded if she called his mom to let her know what a great day he was having. He told yes! call my mom! I am so proud of the little guy! And there have no further phone calls today, always a good sign!
