I arrive to his house and he greets me at the door. He's got the table all set including a big vase of wild flowers. He's cooking the meatballs, the sauce is simmering, the angel hair pasta is boiling and the garlic bread was in the toaster oven where he kept an I on it. He was all nervous I could tell and I'm always a little nervous around him at first (but warm up quickly once I realize again he's the same as last weekend when I saw him). He had made salads and cut the tomatoes all fancy so they looked like restaurant salads (ever detail I tell you...this guy makes me look bad already). He bought a white wine to go with our dinner.
Tonight was our very first time ever eating together. Whenever I'm with him though, there is this odd sense of comfortableness that we both experience with eachother (as if our souls remember eachother).As we were getting ready to sit for dinner, he put on a cd of dinner type music he had especially made for tonight (gush). He had also remembered me and make me a copy of one of my fav artists we had spoke about a couple of weeks ago. He is just so thoughtful.
Dinner was absolutely fabulous! Really yummy and so was the wine. We had another glass as we sat and watched a movie together. Before we watched the movies, he gave me the cd of dinner music for memories. He's such a romantic. He really had thought of every detail.
I'm gushing too much to tell all the juicy details, but tonight we realized that our lips fit together every bit as well as our hands do.
