  Rainy Day~

We finally got some tables together for a yard sale this wk-end.Low and behold it's calling for showers all wk-end.So the tables are just wet,it's cold and gloomy.Well this will give me more time to get it together.I didn't have that much stuff together.I just don't know what people will buy?My husband said honey people will buy anything.Absolutely anything. So will see won't we.So today I'm off to the basement and garage to sort through things i want to get rid of.Whatever doesn't sell I'm putting up a sign Free stuff!Cause i truly don't want to do it again.I'm not a yard sale person.I don't want to wheel and deal.I want you to pay what is priced and leave me alone.Awful i know...

I love your attitude!!! Instead of getting bummed out over the weather, you put a positive spin on the situation and say "It will give me more time to get it together! I really admire that!
And, judging from personal, tag sale experiences, your husband is right; people will buy ANYTHING! "One person's junk is..."
Good luck!

I love yard sales. You can always put up a big sign saying prices are firm. And do put prices on everything. I hate having to ask for a price, and find out the price is way more than I'm willing to pay. I'm also more likely to buy items if I know the price upfront.

I hope you have total success. After our garage sale, everything that didn't sell, I donated to the Good Will. Now I have a clutter free home and it makes a world of difference in my attitude. Good going Angie!

It's insane what people will buy! Remember the old saying - One mans trash is another mans treasure! Good luck!
