Sad Day~

My friends dad passed away Sun.Today was the funeral.I was so sad.To see my friend standing up there greeting people by herself.I was there for a few mins.People were saying are you Angie?He spoke of you all the time and your kids.I was so sad.He is in a better place.He was suffering.He had been fighting this for nearly 5 yrs now.I'm going to her house tonight to eat cake.As she said i'll get 2 spoons and we'll eat the whole thing as she was crying.Oh i hurt,i know she hurts but she is glad it is over.She couldn't stand to see him hurting.So i'm off to eat cake.(He was a great man)Ang

I'm out of date but nevertheless sorry for your friend's loss. I lost my father at 15, and it changed everything forever. My younger sister was twelve ands had very little memory of him. I've taken my sister's death very hard. No matter how ready thou think you are, it's always a great shock to lose a family member,and takes some getting used to.

I lost my dad six years ago to complications from a massive heart attack. He hung on in the cardiac unit for seven weeks before consciousness and life itself finally became to great of a struggle for him. I understand your friend's mixed feelings of profound grief and relief.
Just know that what you are doing for her, being there and listening to her, is the best thing you can do for her right now. You are a wonderful friend!

Thank you very much.I don't have many actually NO friends except her.I'm always there for the ones i love.I think that is just the way it should be..Sorry about your dad.7 yrs is not long at all..
