  Surprise~

I have this lg.thing going on for my son.Our bedroom could be made into 2 rooms if we wanted.Anyway i told my hubby last wk that i want to take him somewhere and switch rooms for him.He is getting bigger and needs more space for his friends and such.We need less room.Right now it's just a big closet for me.So he has bunk-beds and I'm going to put a nightstand between them, make a desk, bookshelf area, then last but not least a little couch and his PlayStation, entertainment stand.Oh i think he'll love it.I know I'll feel much better for doing it.It is going to be hard moving everything up the stairs. It will be worth it for him.He is such a great kid.I love him so.I say that all the time i know.Do you think he'll like all the space?Or should he learn to deal with what he has?I'm not being a smarta** truly asking.Cause some have said your den is what all that should be for,for him to play with his friends so i don't know really.Angie

Personally Angie, having two kids of my own that still live with me (the third is grown in her own apartment) My 15 year old daughter and 13 year old son "rule and run" the two upstairs bedrooms that are connected with kind of a "shared" hallway/dormer/cubby type space in between (neutral ground for their computer and co-ed stuff, lol) Both my kids are very happy with their rooms, their space. That is where they hang with friends. That is where they like to be when we're not doing something as a family and frankly, for my hubby and I... it's nice that they and their friends are "up there" away from us while we're working, watching tv, cooking, etc.

Hope that helps you decide.
