About a month ago I blogged about my friend Christopher that sent me a psycho text telling me to "leave me the f*** alone you stupid bitch". I wasn't losing too much sleep over the whole thing but it did bother me enough that I didn't feel right keeping his ps 2 games. I boxed them up and dropped them off at his house telling him I didn't know what I did and if he needed anything to call me. The next thing I knew I received a call from him explaining to me that his ex took his phone and he had to get a new one and just got back from spending time with his family at the beach. Anyway... we have talked pretty regularly the last few days and he likes me. Isn't that sweet. He really is very thoughtful and is concerned about me being too close to the fire pit, will offer me something to drink if he gets up and has actually initiated contact. WOW...what a change. Over the prior few months he would drop in and out whenever he felt like it, if he felt like it. Now, a complete 360. I guess a visit from his bitchy ex made him realize how nice I am! Anyway, he is very respectful, we are enjoying each others company. We communicate well and he is very complimentary and I'm relieved to say, I'm relieved that I wasn't wrong about him and he is not a psycho after all. I have usually had a pretty good instinct about people and I thought I was losing my touch. We are taking things very slowly and I'm not sure if there is anything there but he is pursuing me not the other way around. It feels nice to have someone like me for me and tell me good qualities about me that doesn't pertain to "sex." He compliments me on my personality and mothering ability, my strength and compassion. It is nice to be observed and recognized for me! However, I'm cautiously optimistic. He is a man you know No offense gentlemen readers!
