It has been a funny weather day in South Florida
today--I don't know how much it has to do with Gustav and/or Hannah but
we have had heavy and light rains, heavy and light winds, plenty of
sunshine, high humidity during the day and a cool breeze towards sunset.

I
really didn't have anything planned for the day and just spent it
leisurely--read the Sunday paper, changed all the birds food and water
cups soaking the old ones in vinegar and bleach--took a few walks every
now and then down to the point--took me old Big Louie's work shirt and
cut off the sleeves--had a light lunch and a heavy dinner!! Finished
off the carrot cake and butter pecan yogurt I had left--just finished
watching Big Brother and now plan to watch a couple of episodes of Mad
Men--if you haven't watched it you are missing a very interesting
show--it's about life in the 60s on Madison Avenue and covers a range
of topics (and EVERYONE smokes and drinks and doesn't think of what
they eat!!)

All in all a nice, quiet day with interesting weather and a quiet evening just relaxing.

I hope you don't get hit hard with Hannah! Gustav is really doing a bad job on NO. I hate hurricane season!

IF it hits us Hannah won't be here until Thursday or Friday--and then we haVE TO WORRY About Ike!!!

I love Mad Men.Bought the first season and will wait for the
second one to come out.This has to be one of t he best to come
out in a long time.The cast is terrific.

You are looking good and sounding like your self again!! Well we got to I believe 98 or 99 yesterday. The same for today but, we may get some showers off of Gustav. Hopefully all of the people got out of there. I guess you all have Hanna out there now huh.

I had a nice relaxing sunday too! I took a nice nap in the afternoon, getting recharged for the work week. its been hot and humid here! have a great monday martin!
