‹ chat statusOne of the reasons I enjoy going to my primary
doctor--the only reason???--is that right next door theer is an old
fashioned NYC deli--reminds me of one I use to eat in all the time when
I lived in the Bronx--small, filled with great smells and good food.
Today, as I promised, after all the blood and preop tests (except for
the chest x-ray!!!) I went and had my lunch!
The Pomperdale Deli--a combined name of Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale--has been there for years.
Ihad a brisket sandwich on hot, soft, seeded rye, a few pickle slices and, of course, a DIET soda!!! LOL
It was delicious!!! Almost had another one but with the rest of my week's eating schedule decided to behave myself.
