Got the following notice from the office:



Seems FPL wants to replace the transformer(s) before hurricane season starts.



That's a good thing BUT there goes my Thursday routine--not to mention that time ? concerns me.

First of all that means the a/c will cut off about 3 hours before I am due to get up--the nerve!! :O)

Won't have hot water to shave and shower or to make coffee/tea.

Needless to say if they run into problems--and don't they always???--will the electricity be cut off so long that my (and the birds) food will be spoiled???

Then how do I do my morning routine of checking my e-mail on the Internet and reading the NYTimes plus AllThatChat on talkinbroadway??

Wait!!! I won't be able to blog!!!! Oh my--I can already feel the withdrawal symptoms!!!

Do I do my weekly Thursday grocery shopping???

And you think we retired people don't have problems?!?!?! Oh well I may just have to disappear into an a/c movie all afternoon--life is rough!

Hope they get it all done quickly

for heaven sake Martin,cool it and just suffer like the rest
of it.All that stuff that you need to do can wait.
You will be fine.Poor Martin.His AC will be shut off.
This is good and will help the enviorement.
