Four weeks? Wowie!! Congrats. BTW, I've been reading some of Dorothy Parker's play reviews from when she wrote for Vanity Fair and then the NYer. She was a hoot! In her review of "The Barretts of Wimpole Street" she commented positively about the individual actors, then said: "In fact, now that you've got me right down to it, the only thing I didn't like about [it] was the play."

No reviews. Hartford and New Haven are too far away for the big papers to be bothered with a small theater in Willimantic, and the local rags are much too busy reporting on who won the 50-50 raffle at the Elk's barbeque on Saturday afternoon.
The small Burton Leavitt Theater in Willimantic, CT relies on its reputation of putting out quality shows. The first few performances of each production (6 mainstage productions a year)are crucial...if the show is good, word of mouth spreads the news like wildfire. After the first two performances of You Can't Take It With You, the box office phone began ringing off the hook, and we began playing to packed houses.
The show ran for four weeks. It was a ball!
