Sounds to me like the "woman" needs to learn that Caleb is no longer interested in her. She sounds like she is discounting you because acknowleging your importance to Caleb would mean that she "lost".
It also sounds to me that she was aggressively "going after" him.
You're right to be irritated at her, Jenn. At least in my mind.
If somebody was doing that to me, I would be a little more than irritated. I'd be downright upset, and I would tell the idiot so in no uncertain terms.
By the way, welcome to Greasy.
]I hope you don't mind, but I've just added you to my friends list.

Don't you wish they had Spell-Check for these damned comments??? The two unrecognizable words in my last comment to this post are "achieving" and "relate".

I too love The Bard. On stage, I've been in Comedy of Errors, and Much Ado About Nothing.
When I taught school, I "translated" The Tempest into a something that lower-acheiving Amercan kids could realte to, and it became The Wicked Massive Storm.
Lots of fun!
How could a school drop Shakespeare from its curriculum????!!!!! The greatest writer in the English Language ever! That's unconscionable!

Time for a new job, kid.
Recent events in my life has just pounded home the message that you've got to live life NOW because there may not be a tomorrow.

I agree with you, Holly. I don't mean to diminish the dispicable nature of the crime, but it is JUST as dispicable to rape a full-grown woman as it is to rape a child!
Remember those old, yellow signs that soccer moms used to put up in the rear windows of their Caravans that said, "Baby On Board"? My response to that was always, "So what?" Are people really going drive more carefully around this car because a baby is inside? Why is a youngster's life more important than any other person's life?
