I have been tagged in general by Cindy and Mel because I opened their posts containing this.
I like this kind of stuff, (Mindless and fun - right up my alley!), but I know that a few of you don't. So, If you opened this, please feel free to do it. If you are not so inclined, well - la-ti-da!

Comments:

I had to look up what libations were -- you could have simply said you went for dinner and drinks!

Entertaining post and comments! I agree that everything should be editable from our posts (forever) to our comments, to our replies. It is frustrating to make a mistake that can't be fixed. It takes me forever to post and comment because of scrutinizing for mistakes, and still I find them AFTER I can no longer correct them!!

YAY! I'm glad you did it! I love these things. "Kashi Krap" makes me laugh. People who have known my J since childhood also call him "Jimmy"... but I can't bring myself to call him that, it just feels weird. I'm sure they'll still be calling him Jimmy when he's in his 50's too.

I HATE this not being able to edit these comments! The last clause of my comment to you, "they think it strikes them as strange" should read, "it strikes them as strange." Mistakes like that happen when too many thoughts run concurrently in one feeble little mind!

My wife can't call me Jimmy either, unless she talking about me to to my mom, step-mom or brothers.
It's funny, I now work in the town in which I grew up, but I live on my farm in another town about thirty miles away. Everybody in the first town calls me Jimmy; all the folks in the second town, including all of my theater pals, call me Jim. It's kinda like leading a double life. And, whenever the twain does meet, and somebody from one town hears somebody from the other town call my name, they think it strikes them as strange.

A stick in the mud? Actually, I think I can handle this one... Not that the answers will be very entertaining or informative....

I wasn't thinking of you when I said 'stick in the mud." However, if the Foo shits...
