Lights! Camra! Snap Crackle Pop! No More!

Yes!!!!!

Another thing to cross off the list.

Ok, here's the deal,  I have been so frustrated about the light switch that turns on the lights in the office where I work. It really scared me because when I would go to turn it on it would make a snap crackle and pop sound and the lights would flicker. Sometimes the light would just turn off by its self and that was a little freaky. I called the leasing agent for the building we lease our office from and told her about it she said we'll send someone over ASAP. I guess they've been real busy because that was 3 months ago.

Get this I have been so worried about this switch that I use a plastic stick to turn it on as not to electrocute myself, besides the fact that I was scared to death that the switch would short out and burn down the building. So I call her last week again to remind her that it has not been fixed and again I get the same ASAP answer this time with attitude. She acts like my asking them to come over to pick my pin up off the floor that I dropped.

The Maintanence Man FINALLY comes today to fix it, he's done in 3 min.

I just wanted to call her up and give her a piece of my mind but right now I can't spare it. So I just checked this off my list and bit my tongue.

Have you ever heard of the Hi-Lows? A chum of mine from HS was in the group.

Your talking about the quartet right? If so yes I have, I love them singing "Goody Goody". I love all music I guess my Grandma was the reason for that. She was the best.

How frustrating! At least you had it dealt with.

Did he truly fix it in only 3 minutes? I hope that it is fixed!

Yes he really did fix it just needed to be replaced. He came up turned off the power to the switch, unscrewed it popped the wires out, popped the wires into the new one, screwed it back into the wall, flipped the breaker back on and all was good.

good deal, you don't want all that negative energy a phone call would generate.

I hear that. It did help that the Maintenance Man was really nice and kept saying he was sorry that it took so long to get to it. All is better now though.

Remember now I'm a mom of a teenage boy. I don't know if I remember how to be mild. I should have gone over her head but you still never know, if I would have next time I have a problem it might take 4 mos.
