  Narnia ... Prince Caspien

Wow! I saw this movie tonight with my sister and both of my kids. It was awesome! We got tickets for the premiere. The movie started at 7:30 PM and we got there, and in line, at 6PM. Shortly after that, they took the four of us, and two of my sisters friends, to the theater. We got to go in before anyone else did. It was very cool that we didn't have to wait in that long line. Then, as it got close to 7:00 PM, they announced in the front of the theater that no one should save seats for their friends anymore because they were not letting anyone else in the theater. Some of the people in line did not get into the movie.

There were quite a few companies that sponsored the premiere and they had several free t-shirts that they threw to people in the theater. We didn't catch one and that's okay because I was there for the movie, not the shirts.

It's funny because, at the end of the show, my sister asked me which one of the two Narnia movies I liked best and I liked them equally as much. Then I asked my son, J, and he said the same thing as me. The graphics in this movie are pretty awesome! There is one scene in the movie where a huge wave builds and it is in the form of a giant man. I won't tell you what the wave does because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. The White Witch also tries to escape Narnia again. All I can say is that the movie is terrific. If you have ever read the Chronicles of Narnia, I highly recommend this movie.

My son has to work at 5 AM tomorrow, so I've got to get to bed because I'm driving him to work. I hope everyone's day was great today.

I absolutely loved The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe book when I was a kid and the movie was fabulous. I can hardly wait to take my 13 & 15 year olds to see this movie. Have a great weekend.

That is one book, I have never read - always (as now) wanted to, but never got around to it. I know the jist, of the storyline, of course, but I'd love to see this movie - love this type!

I hope you get around to seeing it, or reading the book. It's a really great story.
