  Puppy and Haircut

I'm getting ready for my interview with Safeway. Today, I went and got my hair cut. I haven't had it cut in a very long time and it had gotten the longest it has been in years. I don't really like to have my hair as long as it was, so I got the wedge haircut today. The stylist that I go to is the best, I think. She is the only one that I will allow to cut my hair in the wedge cut. She does a fantastic job of it! Needless to say, she did a great job again today. I will try to get a picture of it and post it soon. I'm so happy with it.

Tomorrow is the big day. I'm trying to pick out a really nice outfit. I really want this job and am praying and hoping that I get it. My son told me last night that he is praying for me to get the job. I thought that was really sweet of him. Both of my kids are supportive of me getting it, which is nice. Of course, it means that when I go back to work, they will be walking or busing themselves to work as well. But, they are old enough.

My son is visiting with his girlfriend's family tonight and won't be home until later. My daughter is at the movies with a friend, after spending the morning at work and the afternoon at the beach. She'll be home around 7:30 tonight.

The puppy was picked up last night, so we no longer have to take care of it here. I am honestly relieved! I had forgotten how much work a puppy really is. Last night, there was a huge bang outside the apartment building, so I opened our door to see what was going on. However, what I didn't know was that the puppy had gone out the front door in the few seconds I had it open. I came back in looking for the puppy and realized it may have gotten outside. Well, it did and it was sitting against the front door waiting for me to open it. It scared me so much to know that he had gotten outside. Thank God that it was okay and did not run off and 'explore.' I told my son to let his friend know so that the puppy doesn't do that again. They need to watch this dog so carefully. It also chews on everything, so I was constantly worried about it getting hurt or choking on something. I told my son to tell his friend that. Anyway, I'm so glad we are not caring for the puppy anymore. Our dog, Ku'i also seems calmer and more relaxed. Everytime the puppy was let out of his basket to run around, it automatically ran to Ku'i and started chewing and biting her, which annoyed her. Now, Ku'i can rest.

Well, that's it for now. I'm just passing time away until the interview.

That's one little task you can now say is done. I'm sure it was cute to have the puppy there, but it can be a taxing responsibility.

Oh, and I'd love to see your new haircut.

Good Luck at your interview. Someone who is so eager and energetic like yourself will surely get the job! Employers can tell the difference in those who are enthusiastic and those who just want a job but don't care where. I'm sure you're going to do great. Glad your dog can relax now too.
