Lord, help the people who are so hard of heart that they would betray You (even if indirectly through the least of our brothers) out of scepticism, selfish desire, etc.
Like the holy mothers and fathers who came before us, Lord, guide us in Your love and wisdom, so that we may show Your light all people, enemies and friends alike.
On wednesday, a bishop was appointed to shepherd Edmonton's Ukrainian Catholic eparchy. He will begin his post in the middle of March. Praise be to Jesus Christ who after a year and three months has given His flock a new bishop to guide us.

How Lord, may I glorify You? You are my heart's desire, yet I'm constantly giving to the world those things that are Yours. Help us in our weakness, Holy Trinity, that we may give you glory unto the ages. Amen.
Bless us O Lord in our weaknessess that we may want only You and give us the strength to keep following and trusting in You when even one person is against us for being Yours. We rejoice in You O Lord, for You are our reward.
In reading the passage I noticed that Christ didn't call Bartimeus Himself. He commanded His followers to call Bartimeus to Him. As Christ's followers, there are times He commands us to do the same and call our brothers and sisters to Him.
Lord, give us the strength to call when You command.
I like your poem, sometimes we just need to pray about these things and also pray for the people involved.
