It Started Out So Innocently ...

I was vacuuming. The pantry floor was dirty, so I took everything out to vacuum it. It was still dirty, so I washed the floor. Then I noticed the next shelf up was dirty...

The entire contents of my pantry are in boxes scattered around the kitchen.

All the wooden shelves have been removed (10 of them).

All items attached to the walls have been removed (fire extinguisher, knife holder, 2 wire racks)

All shelves have been scrubbed.

The walls of the pantry have been washed.

The walls of the pantry have been PAINTED! Semi-gloss white instead of eggshell grey. It's much brighter and cleaner looking now.

The shelves I was going to cover in wall paper, but the wall paper isn't sticking well enough. So I guess I'll be painting all 10 of those as well. Tomorrow hopefully. While the kids watch TV.

It started out so innocently..

I know exactly how that starts, that's why I just don't clean anymore

Any job worth doing is worth doing well. Or so I've been told a bazillion times (by my father).

I understand. It's so easy to get sucked in. Next time you vacuum be brave, stay strong.
