2. The shower spider that I accidentally killed last summer. The spider had lived in my shower for almost a week, cheering me up every morning when I stepped into the tub. Then I stepped on it accidentally while washing one morning and I cried.

Cool post young lady...
Because that amount of coffee isn't good for anyone, I limit myself and just flush myself with water...My new favorite thing is the iced coffee from McDonald's. Have you had one? They're strong and oh so good.

I'm a lot more careful now in the shower but I've never had one stay for so long...we did have a pretty amazing web in the corner between the tub and the wall a few months ago...
I'd say the journey to oneself counts and good for you on opening up and admitting something outloud you never have before

Also, the spider shower incident reminds me of a scene in the Woody Allen Movie "Annie Hall". Annie calls Woody over to her apartment to take care of a huge spider in her bathtub. He kills it, and she screams at him. A frustrated Woody then says, "You asked me get rid of a spider the size of a Buick in your bathtub. So I killed it. I didn't know you wanted me to capture it and rehabilitate it!"
