I am so bad at getting my hair cut that the 6-8 week trim turns into the 6-8 month mercy dash to the salon to have an overhaul on the split ends and general fuzzyness that is my mane. I have been really bad this time though. The last time it was cut I only had two children, my third is now 17 months old which means that my last trip to the hairdresser was an embarassing 18 months ago! Yes I am ashamed and I now tie my hair back most of the time because it is such a disgrace.

I have decided that my bra strap length hair is going to be butchered - more out of necessity that for a hair heaven style. Goodness knows what my hairdresser will say whne she sees it.

The girl that is going to be styling my hair has just returned to hairdressing for a bit to cover the salon owners maternity leave. She used to cut my hair regularly (well regular for me!) and then left to train as a teacher. She has since found love and changed religion for the love of her life. So we have alot of catching up to do. Let's hope my barnet looks all sleek and shiny and not like a hatstack at the end of it.

The frequency of my haircuts is in direct proportion to the balance in my checking account. I get them when I can afford them.

I always wait to long. Sometimes I end up cutting it myself
