A few days back I received an email from my mum at her work wondering if I wanted to go to the pictures to see "Mama Mia". Thought *why no*, it has been two years since my last cinema trip. It is not that I don't love the cinema, because I do, we just keep getting let down by baby sitters.

Last night we went and it was brilliantly awful! The music, movie, Pierce Brosnan's singing (well he tried...painful!!) all made for a fun toe tapping sing-a-thon. Plus there was the cameo appearance at the end that I never bothered to mention to my mum and sister at the end as they are a little slow and probably didn't clock it.....if they had they would have mentioned it!

I now wished I'd gone to the stage show when I was on honeymoon in Toronto...I pushed DH into going to see the Lion King - fantastic as it was he would have preferred Mama Mia!! He still casts it up from time to time!!

I am actually tempted to go again with a friend up the road who's husband is none too keen to see it. I am also thinking along the lines of an ABBA party when the DVD is released so that we can have some vino and nibbles to get all former dancing queens into the spirt of things before we try and watch the film.

If you haven't already seen it I highly recommend it for a great night out with some gal pals who love ABBA and a cheesy chick flick.

It's not out here yet I don't think??? Interesting. I have seen the previews and I do want to see it and I as well wish I would have made an effort to see it on Broadway...
