I liked the National League pick, but what did Lee come back from? Mussina at least was a proven pitcher in the past and I would have liked to see him get the award. Oh well, thats just another humble opinion from the Professor.

Last year the Indians sent him down to the minors (Buffalo). He couldn't locate and blew many leads. He had to fight for the fifth starter's job in Spring Training this year. Comeback kid!

Manny was not a favorite here in Boston.
Had a very bad attitude.Great player yes,but his personality
was not all that super.They were glad to get rid of him.

We had him in right field in Cleveland longer than you had him in left. He went to the Red Sox for big money, and we really were not too upset to get rid of him.

It's a pity they don't make toy baseball players the way they used to do with soldiers and sailors. You could line up your favorites! I'd buy some!

PS I'll never forget how my world crumbled when I went to the dime store to buy another soldier (metal) and discovered figures stamped out of plastic. Oh, woe.
