A couple things happened yesterday that had me laughin.

First, I heard from my brother in WI. I sent my SIL the Farm Sanctuary book for her birthday as my mom suggested, right? Well when I was talking to my mom about it I said that I didn't want SIL to think I was trying to influence her one way or the other, just that I thought it was interesting to know. So my mom suggested I write something along those lines inside on the first (blank) page. So I did. I wrote "Not trying to change your mind about anything, I just thought this book was very informative!" So - point of the story. Brother points out that right underneath the title of the book on the front cover it states "Changing hearts and minds about farm animals" or something along those lines. A wee bit contradictory? Too funny... We had a good chuckle.

Then I used my bluetooth on my new phone for the first time yesterday. I called my friend T from my car and was chatting along to her voicemail when some random car totally came over from a lane that had a red light and cut me off. I said "You stupid 'jackhole' why ya gotta cut me off?!?!" then I realized I was still on T's voicemail. Oopsy. hehe. It's sooo easy to forget you are on the phone when there is no phone in your hand. I also told R I felt that I was lucky in the respect that I DID remember I was on the phone, otherwise I woulda been singing away and man, that just wouldn't have been pretty!

In other news I am meeting up with an OLD friend tonight. We played soccer together back in the day and our dad's are still friends. I recently learned that she lives about 10 minutes away from me. How strange is that? So we are going to meet up for dinner... It should be interesting, I haven't seen her in gawd, 15-18 years? I hope I recognize her. She has a son and will be bringing him with her so I guess I will try to look for a kid and a mom!

Anyways, Happy Thursday people! One more day til FRIDAY!!! WAHOO!
