Volunteering is Catchy!

So now a couple of R's friends want to volunteer. I love it! I hope everyone follows suit! Wouldn't that be wonderful?

I had to work late last night. Annoying. But at least I got an extra hour in I suppose...

Last night I was sleeping wonderfully til Kraymer jumped off my bed and ran to the corner and started puking. Poor dude. I got up and pet him and told him it was ok as he kept going and going. Then we cleaned it up and went back to bed. I slept SOOO deeply last night it was amazing. My dreams were all so vivid. It was hard to wake up when my alarm went off this morning. Man work blows. haha

Not much new to report. San Francisco is a little more than a week away - that's exciting!!! It's going to be short but fun. Then the second we get back I will be busy with morning and evening pet sits & regular work - it's going to be tiring! But it's only for a couple weeks then it'll be back to normal.

Absolutely! It was rent time and health insurance time... and I ran out of extra cash.

So one day, one day soon, we definitely have to meet up!

Ah, if only I had a better paying gig. I would so meet up with you and R for an afternoon in San Fran! That would be a blast! You are going to enjoy the city so much you might move there!

Ooo! San Fran!! Have fun! It's a great town and my cuz plays on the San Fran Guitar Quartet, but their next local gig isn't till September (I checked). And there are LOTS of great Vegan restaurants near Golden Gate Park!

I would suggest hitting Fisherman's Wharf. Most of what you want to do can be done within the area AND I believe Ghirardelli Chocolate and Jelly Belly are HQ'd in San Fran with flagship stores near the wharf. The Palace of The Fine Arts is BEAUTIFUL and great for pictures. It's near the GG Park I believe. My Cuz often mentions the Peace Cafe for vegan food (he's vegan too) http://www.redvic.com/. It's near Haight-Ashbury.

vegan restaurants? really??? I need more info on stuff to do there, although R knows exactly what he wants to do. He wants to go on the golden gate bridge, go down lombard street, I want to go to the pier to see sea lions and I want to eat at a restaurant on the water. Any other ideas?

Poor fella!!!! Dixie did the same thing the other morning. Then, fifteen minutes later when I went out to feed the horses, she was running circles around me as if nothing had happened. Hope the same is true for Kraymer!

yeah I talked to T and R about it - T said if Sonoma valley is too far (about 2 hours) then there are wineries around the lake we'll be staying at as well. R said he was down with whatever so I guess we'll see how we feel after partying it up at the wedding! hehe

I had signed up on the greenpeace website about a year ago. I got a call this weekend asking if I still wanted to volunteer for local activities. well all of their stuff is up north so I probably won't be able to. But they are going to keep me informed by email of all their local events!
I think we are both counting the days until vacation!
