Shorthanded Leafs Fall Short In Vancouver

So what if the Leafs were missing their top scorer who just happends to be their top defenseman? Anytime you get 7 powerplays and have two leads in a game on the road you must come out with two points anything else is unexceptible.

"we went into the west played two great games and lost both." Pat Quinn told the Torontosun in an interview after the game.

The defense lead to the downfall of the Leafs and leading the charge downward was the combination of two rookies. Carl and Steffan had a tough time out there and it showed finishing the game -2 +/-.

I saw three great games out west and it's going to be sad that under the new format the Leafs wont head out west again for three years. I feel For the Leaf fans out west.

Now it's time for some good news. Eric Lindros Wrist is healing and Eric could be back in mid January. Bryan McCabe should be back for Saturdays Tilt at the A.C.C against Wayne's Coyotes . (Thats What they Are Wayne's ,Coyotes)

Leafs finally Outshoot an opponet but lose ,kinda ironic. 38-15. We Did see the Offence sort of Explode so there is atleast some good news on that front.

Ohh Jeff Were art thou? Must not be in Toronto cause he has lacked on the physical and scoring touch recently. If you not going to score (Mike Peca) atleast stick to a defensive game.

Leafs played Three Playoff Teams and Played a High level of hockey. Almost a playoff type of game and it good to see the boys ready for the playoffs.
