Things Are Looking Up For The Leafs

After losing six straight games and tons of injury problems things are starting to look a bit better for the Leafs. News out of Toronto has Lindros skating with the team (without a cast on his wrist), McCabe is back on his feet and both could crack the lineup on this upcoming road trip threw the southern United States.

All through out the last couple of weeks we have been hearing rumors of Sundin on the trade block and that the Leafs owe it to Mats to Trade him. Well Sundin wants to stay and John Furgeson Jr wants him here. No surprise that the rumor was published by an Ottawa Writer.

Now I'd Like to give credit to the Senators for playing a great pair of games against the Leafs but man did they almost choke and how great would it have been if the Leafs were to comeback and win, Much like the 03-04 season when the Sens held a five goal lead and have the Leafs come back and win the game. Turned the Leafs season around.

No surprise to me that the Leafs came out and played a physical game and thats what a less talented team must do. With out the skill's of players such as Eric Lindros and Byan McCabe , They must impose their big body's and play a gritty game.

It starts with you Mr. Domi. You Got the team going with a bout and then got a goal and assist. In this new nhl fighting is down beacuase the skilled game is being promoted or atleast is trying to be brought out.
what better way to energize the fans and the team then getting the hitting and fighting going.

Leafs Take on a good Sabers team tonight. Im sure the A.C.C crowd will help end this streak tonight. Then they will have the Arch rival Montreal Canadians at home . Lets get this going right Leafs.

Speaking of the Habs, Jan Bulis had missed a couple of games do to his lack of play as of late. He cracked the lineup yesterday and has just four shots. Well he scored on all four and helped the struggling Habs get back on track beating the flyers in Philly.
The Flyers were so good on that record 11game road trip and have been average at home since.losing a couple of close games.

Ed Jovanovski had played in two straight games after coming back from the groin injury had the news out of Vancouver isn't good. Looks like Jovo cop has reinjured the groin and now looks like he may miss the Olympics. With Injuries to McCabe (who is on the Taxi Squad) and now Jovo, Wayne and Kevin Lowe should take a look at a really solid Defensive Defenseman In Jay Bouwmeester. I , Living in Florida get to see alot of Jay and he has become one of my favorite players in the game. Jay is solid and He has alot of upside. Jay wont make a mistake and has played in the world cup for Canada. By the way the guy is quiet and a great skater plus he is from Edmonton and has really picked up his game in the last week. Don't waste your time with the numbers because he hardly shoots the puck, and thats the only nick on his game but recently he has really started to jump into plays and makes a great first pass. Watch for this kid to show you something in Febuary.

Got a bit of news, McCabe and Tucker are expected to play in Florida (either Sunrise or Tampa) next week. While Lindros could see action as soon as next Saturday. I don't know if he will make the road trip down south that begins Monday Against the Panthers and heads threw Tampa and the nations capital.

Just cause you dont like the Leafs dosen't give you the right to be bashing on other peoples stuff and at 14 years old, How about you grow some pubic hair and pass 8th grade english instead of bashing on "the Leafs." Coyotes fans shouldn't be talking, Their three to four years away from losing their team anyway's. Not even the Greatone can get your sorry ass fans to come out to the games. Look are your Cardinals, only home game they sold out was in Mexico.
