Hi Hazel... I'm sorry I haven't been by for awhile to say hello. Hope you are doing okay. My back just keeps getting better, but it will never be back to normal. I still can't pick up stuff off the floor and can't lift anything that is heavy. Housework is okay, but doing the floors is still a backbreaking task. Hubby is home this week and he will get the floors in tip-to-shape... when he isn't out deer hunting. It is nice to have him home!!!!

Hope you get to feeling better, as I could only read the beginning of your post on blogster.com and couldn't get the link to open. My eye has improved but still has a "film-like" appearance to it, but will see the eye specialist this Friday for possible steroid injection into it!!

My wife has got me on the South Beach diet, but since she is out of town this past week on business, I made rice pudding!! You are right we should eat to live, not live to eat!! On my way to work on my bicycle yesterday, it was strange that an old prayer came into my mind that I had memorized when in catechism in grade-school but didn't register in my soul until yesterday. It goes like this: "Dear God, to whom all hearts are open and from whom no secrets are hidden. Forgive us for our ungodly acts of commission as well as those of omission. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may more perfectly love you and worthily magnify your Holy name. Amen.
