  The Best of 'Kodak'

I guess you've already heard the (((Great))) news from Augusta about Emily winning her event in the Horse 'n' Pony Competition! I'm so chuffed, proud and over the moon for her - I did spill a tear, sniffled like a baby and hugged her so hard. She cried when the judges awarded her 1st and 3rd position in one event - she just couldn't believe it! All of us went up to support her, Grany and Gramps, all my kids and myself and Roger! As you can imagine we're used to supporting loud events in Karate, so there were alot of astonished people inc horses 'n' ponys when they heard us rooting for Emily lol! We were loud - very loud [blush] Oh well we made our mark he-he.

In the rush this morning to get over to Grampa's to sort Emily out, Roger had forgoton to pic up the camera in desperation I called in the garage and bought one of those throw away 'Kodak cameras', I filled the film with shots but I haven't sent them in to be developed yet. I'll get right on it tomoz and post some picks with Emily, Blackie her horse and her rosettes.

I totaly beat now, it's like midnight here, we're so tired. I have to sleep now. talk to y'all soon <3

I bet you were tired, when you got back! It doesn't seem to 'hit' you until you get in through the door and you are saddled (no 'pun' intended!) with getting the little ones off to bed and making sure that all the school stuff is ready (ish)

Very, very good. I used to show my horse in western pleasure and English. We won several ribbons also. It is a grand feeling to have your horse recognized, for you know he is the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!

Emily's decided to put blackie the horse into retirement, she said he was to slow for her , mind you the horse is great for learning on, but he's older than me, he wasn't producing enough speed in the following event so she adopted a new 'feistier' pony. I haven't seen that one yet

I really didn't expect her to win anything to be honest with you, I wanted to see how much skill she had developed - the wins were an amazing accomplishment, I was SO pleased for her
